Blueberry Fruit Extract
Prized among the indigenous people of North America for its medicinal and nutritive value, blueberries are one of the most potent antioxidant foods. The same thing that makes blueberries blue, a pigment called anthocyanin, makes them an effective antioxidant. Antioxidants neutralize the effects of "free radicals," which are unstable compound molecules that can attack human cells and damage their DNA.
